What if you can't hit the speed targets?

Do I need to install any plugins?
We minimise plugin usage. Where caching, critical CSS, or image optimisation requires a plugin, we use lightweight, well-maintained options. Most of the work is configuration, server tuning, and direct code fixes - not stacking plugins on top of the problem.
Will this break my site's design?
No. We test every change against a staging copy before touching production. Image optimisation, lazy loading, and critical CSS are tuned so the visual experience is identical - just faster. You approve the staging result before we push live.
How long do the improvements last?
The core improvements - caching layer, image pipeline, critical CSS, font loading strategy, database clean-up - are structural and last indefinitely. The one variable is new content: if you upload unoptimised 5 MB hero images later, those pages will slow down. We include a handoff guide so your team knows how to keep things fast.
What about hosting - do I need to switch?
Not necessarily. We tune your current hosting stack as far as it can go. If your host is fundamentally underpowered, we'll flag it in the audit and recommend options - but hosting migration is a separate service, not part of the optimisation deliverables.
